The LCD is also 3D ready, enabling you to view your 3D content directly on the camera’s LCD without the need for 3D glasses. The Bloggie® 3D camera lets you record your favorite moments in High Definition MP4 (H.264) format and features a 5MP CMOS sensor that lets you take crisp 5MP still images (2D) and 2MP 3D still photos. The 2.4” LCD will rotate its orientation automatically; however you hold the camera – horizontally, vertically, even upside down. Record and store up to four hours of 2D high-definition video footage (default setting) to the camera’s 8GB of built-in flash memory.1 The slender body with its low-profile and simplified buttons give the Bloggie® 3D camera a sleek look and feel and at only 4.2 oz it’s easy to take with you everywhere. A built-in USB arm easily flips-out and lets you connect your camera directly to your compatible PC to upload video and/or charge your battery without having to hunt for cables. The Bloggie® 3D camera comes with pre-installed software that makes it easy to tag videos and images in the camera while on the go and mark them for upload to your favorite internet sharing sites, like Facebook®, YouTube™, or Personal Space™ the next time the camera is connected to a computer. SteadyShot® image stabilization helps reduce blur caused by camera shake. With the Bloggie® 3D camera you’ll be able to take pictures or video from as little as 4” away2, perfect for capturing a business card or a new friend’s phone number. The Bloggie® 3D camera’s Exmor™ CMOS sensor delivers high-quality video and pictures with less grain, even in challenging lighting conditions. Face Detection technology recognizes faces and optimizes camera settings for both video and still images2, so faces are captured more clearly and skin tones look more natural. The built-in battery contributes to the Bloggie® 3D camera’s sleek and stylish design while powering the large 2.4” screen and camera functions. With HDMI™ output, you’ll be able to share your HD Bloggie® 3D video with friends and family on your 3D HDTV (3D HDMI cable required/not included). Value for Price Performance Quality This can also be used as a regular (2D) camera - just print the left or right photo instead of both. The only current drawback to 3D is easy viewing and sharing of your 3D content. For viewing 3-D pictures I would recommend printing your pictures as Side-by-Side "Parallel" photos and viewing them with a 3Dphotoscope. (They can be printed just like regular photos at any photo printing company for about 10 cents each). For viewing 3-D video I would recommend getting a pair of 3D Prism Glasses from [...]for around 20 bucks.

Value for Price Performance Quality The bloggie software that comes with the camera wouldn't install on one of my computers because of ActiveX (even after it was enabled and disabled), had to install on another computer.
Bloggie software crashes when I try to play a video and also won't upload pics and videos - I have to do it manually outside the software.
Hopefully they will fix these problems soon!
There is also a firmware update that you need to download and apply to the camera - the instructions for that are not clear, but I managed :)
The screen on the back of the camera is REALLY COOL! I love looking at the 3D images I take. Camera takes good pictures, I just wish the bloggie software worked as promised - I'm surprised Sony would release it like this.

Value for Price Performance Quality I bought 3D camera on sale not really expecting much (I have 4 other Full HD Video Cameras). I have been nothing but impressed by the quality of the video in spite of the small aperture (it out performs all my other cameras). There is barely any jump in the shots when panning or when filming action (other 1080 cameras skip frames and scenes jump). This thing charges on your computer or cigarette lighter via USB, then it quickly downloads to your hard drive. It's in my front shirt pocket and always ready for action! The side by side 1080 3D files are crisp. The cons I've seen are that there is very little option for adjustments and the auto adjustments tend to lean a bit to the dark side - but I can live with that. I can say a lot more in favor, but overall, this little thing really Kicks Tail and puts you into the 3D world of video for a fraction of the cost of a camcorder.
